Quilling Classes

BeadWeaving Classes

Beginner  - This class is for absolute beginners or new quillers. Beginner kits supplied. This class covers making all basic shapes and using these shapes to complete several projects from the beginner kit. This is a fast paced course due to amount of techniques being covered, therefore not recommended for children. Students should have enough knowedge after course to complete remaining projects in kit at home.

Lace Seed Bead Bracelet - In this BeadWeaving class, make a seed bead lace braclet using 11/0 seedbeads. Involves very fine detail weaving using tiny seedbeads, beading needle & beading thread.  Class Materials supplied

Class Length:  3hr

Mini-Beginner  - This class is for absolute beginners or new quillers. Mini Starter Kit supplied. This class covers making the most common basic shapes and using these shapes to complete several class projects. This is a more sedately paced course and suitable for adults & children - perfect for mother/daughter crafting experience.

Class Length:  1.5hr

Russian Spiral Weave Bracelet - In this BeadWeaving class, make a Russian Spiral Weave Bracelet using 8/0 & 11/0 sized seedbeads, beading needle & beading thread.   Class Materials supplied

Scroll Work - This class covers making a scroll alphabet and using scroll work to complete an intricate mat border suitable for framing a cherished photo. Students should have completed either the Beginner or Mini-Beginner course  (or equivalent).   Includes class materials, but students should bring their tool set, work board, glue, scissors, ruler, pins, and tweezers with them (or purchase these tools at class).

Embellished Ladder  Stitch Bracelet - In this BeadWeaving class, make an embellished Ladder Stitch bracelet using 8/0 and 11/0 seedbeads. Good class for learning the Ladder Stitch. Class Materials Supplies

Hearts, Roses, & PaperWeaving - This class focuses on a variety of Rose making techniques, heart designs, and paperweaving.  Then the class project uses a sampling of these techniques to complete  a Woven Heart & Folded Rose card for Valentines Day.  Students should have completed either the Beginner or Mini-Beginner course (or equivalent).  Includes class materials, but students should bring their tool set, work board, glue, scissors, ruler, pins, and tweezers with them (or purchase these tools at class).

Husking, ASL &Wheatears - Learn Husking, Alternate Side Looping and Wheatear techniques and apply them in class projects to make a husked butterfly and complete a decorative mat suitable for framing a cherished photo.  Students should have completed either the Beginner or Mini-Beginner course  (or equivalent).   Includes Husking Kit and class materials, but students should bring their tool set, workboard, glue, scissors, ruler, pins, and tweezers with them (or purchase these tools at class).

Introduction to PaperQuilling - This class provides a basic introduction to PaperQuilling. Learn some Basic Quilling Shapes while making a Quilled Gift Card.  Good class for children, scrapbookers, and others who only want to learn the basics and don't plan on advancing to complete kits or more advanced projects at this time.

Cost:  $15 + Tax

Personal Instruction - Available at PaperQuilling.ca location Flexible Schedules. 

Class Length:  available in 1hr increments - 1 Student Only

Cost:  $10 Hourly Rate plus Materials.
